HKMA Dragon Boat Fun Day 2026

An unforgettable day of absolute dominance as the HKOA Dragon Boat Team secured a historic back-to-back championship!

Following months of intense preparation, our paddlers executed a spectacular clean sweep at the HKMA Dragon Boat Fun Day 2026 at Sha Ha Beach, Sai Kung, capturing definitive victories in Heat 1, Heat 2, and the prestigious Gold Cup Final Championship.

This phenomenal performance marks a monumental milestone for HKOA: consecutive championships last year and this year, representing our finest back-to-back run since 2013.

Under the stellar leadership of Team Captain Dr. Peter Li and the tactical guidance of Coach Mr. Siu, the HKOA crew completely shattered the leaderboard by clocking the absolute fastest time of the entire tournament.

Boosting team morale both on and off the water, HKOA President Dr. KK Wong not only cheered from the sidelines but also stepped into the boat to personally help paddle the team to victory in Heat 2.

These photos perfectly capture the sweat, the incredible legacy, and the wonderful camaraderie of an immensely enjoyable afternoon spent celebrating a historic win together by the sea.
